Background
Opened in February 2015, Unitemps is the Canterbury Christ Church University in-house recruitment agency providing temporary recruitment solutions to University departments and commercial clients in the local area.
The Unitemps Recruitment Officer is a new position and provides an exciting opportunity for the post holder to contribute to the setting up and development of the branch. This is a pivotal role in providing students with opportunities to gain experience of work to enhance their employability.
The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the post holder will take a leading role in providing effective recruitment solutions for a portfolio of clients and candidates at all levels. The role will also involve business development and marketing activities to expand Unitemps operations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of business development and recruitment processes. You will possess the ability to work independently and to prioritise your own workload; be able to work well under pressure and to targets and deadlines; and demonstrate excellent administrative and IT skills. You will be committed to the delivery of a high quality service to enhance and enrich the student experience.
