Your new role:

We are currently looking for a part time, permanent Housekeeper to provide a cleaning service at William Harvey Hospital. You will be required to work between Monday and Friday.

Your duties:

– Responsible for delivery of housekeeping, cleaning, catering and customer services to an agreed standard within clinical areas.

– Observe the codes of practice for Health and Safety.

– Ensure that customer complaints are promptly dealt with, and action taken to prevent reoccurrence.

– The equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies and to maintain the equipment in a clean, safe and tidy condition.

– Report all maintenance issues and hazards to your line manager/Supervisor.

– Carry out duties in accordance with agreed Method Statements

– Effective communication with all levels of staff

– Any other cleaning duties required from time to time

What skills do you need?

– Good communication skills including verbal and written English (this will be tested at interview)

– Attention to detail

– Manual Handling

– Customer Care

– Fire Safety

– Risk Assessment awareness

– Health and Safety awareness

– BICSc training to Operator Proficiency Certificate Level 1
