The Company
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Assistant preferably with the experience of working ideally within a recruitment agency (contractor payroll) or payroll bureau. You will be working alongside an established team.
The Role
An opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Payroll Assistant has arisen to work within a large, dynamic and fast paced accountancy firm based in Swanley Village, Kent.
Requirements
The right candidate MUST have experience in experience of working, ideally, within a recruitment agency (contractor payroll) or payroll bureau.
Must have experience of high volume invoicing/billing.
Experience of umbrella or CIS payroll preferred
Good understanding of manual PAYE and NIC calculations.
Good eye for detail and spotting numerical anomalies and errors.
Positive, can-do attitude a must.
Ability to work under pressure.
Data manipulation in Excel, so intermediate experience required
Following procedures, even within tight timescales.
Process BACS payments
Produce and send payroll documents, eg Payslips, Remittance Advice slips
Produce payroll reports as and when required
Key Skills
Technically competent with Accounts Administration
AAT Qualified or equivalent
Minimum 3 Years` experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge of Excel essential
Eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise and organise workload
