Person Specification – KS1/KS2 Teacher

You will be an enthusiastic and positive KS1/KS2 Teacher who has been graded as ‘Good’ or better by Ofsted in recent observations and possess high standards of inclusive practice. The new KS1/KS2 Teacher will possess the drive and commitment to deliver meaningful, positive lessons on a consistent basis. My client Head Teacher wants to see teachers with the drive to harmonize their current working practices with those of the school, fitting seamlessly into their creative and inclusive ethos. The KS1/KS2 Teacher post is open to both experienced KS1/KS2 Teacher or a highly talented Primary NQT.

About the KS1/KS2 Teacher role

As a KS1/KS2 Teacher you will be taking charge of a KS1 or KS2 class which will be decided nearer the time. This KS1/KS2 Teacher position involves teaching with the full support of an experienced Teaching Assistant, exploring the pedagogical options when more than one practitioner is in the class. With a subject leader TLR on offer (including a share of the lead on numeracy/literacy) for the right candidate, this is a great job for an ambitious teacher who enjoys a varied workload. This is a school who place huge importance of teaching in an imaginative and engaging way at all times and you will be expected to buy into this approach from day one.
