Person Specification – Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

For this Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you must be a strong-willed Science graduate who has earned an upper second class degree or better and have some experience of working with secondary aged children. The school wants a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant who can prove that they are serious about a career in education and that they are determined to reach this goal. The new Science Graduate Teaching Assistant must show the ability to convey a thorough understanding of the national curriculum in a passionate and concise way.

About the Science Graduate Teaching assistant role

At this excellent Grammar School, as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the teaching of the sciences across the whole school. As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant,you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to ensure that their individual needs are being met. Part of your Teaching Assistant role will include progressing your teaching technique by immersing yourself into the school first class bespoke CPD programme which will ensure any areas you feel need work are targeted and improved.
