HABERDASHERS' ASKE'S CRAYFORD ACADEMY: Pre-School Lead

£19,322 – £20,750 Band 3 pro rata Term time + 1 week (40 weeks)

Haberdashers Aske’s has provided high quality education in Crayford for the last seven years for both primary and secondary aged children. This success has led to extend its provision to include 2 year olds, providing a much needed service to our local community.

We are looking for an NVQ level 3 practitioner who is dedicated and passionate about enriching children’s learning and development. For the right candidate, this is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in establishing a new two year old provision at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy on it’s Iron Mill Lane site and to join an organisation that makes a real difference at the start of this important extension of the all through education that is offered at the school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has NVQ level 3 in Early year childcare



• At least two year experience working within an EYFS setting



• Is able to lead the day to day running of the 2 year old provision



• Can promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues



• Is able to ensure health & safety and wellbeing of children



• Support the children’s development, be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with small groups of children and their families according to the EYFS framework

The work is 08:00am to 16:00 pm Monday to Friday, term time only
