Sales Office/Customer Service Manager




New Appointments Group have been retained by a bespoke manufacturing organisation based in Kent to help source a new Sales Office/Customer Service Manager.

Reporting into the Managing Director and working closely with other senior managers within the business, the chief remit of the role will be to oversee the company’s continued growth and support the company’s plans for expansion through focused commercial development. With multi-million pound investment for the plant secured, this is an opportunity to join a company that boasts market leading status across much of its product portfolio.


The post holder will bring verve, dynamism and energy to the role, and given time will instil this to a knowledgeable sales and marketing team. With an analytical approach and the use of the CRM system, the Sales Office/Customer Service Manager will improve the current enquiry conversion rate, and be able to identify areas for growth of revenue with market and customer analysis.


Applicants will be tasked ion aiding the development of marketing strategy for the business too, with a particular focus on online and digital presence. You will work in close partnership with a retained marketing agency to achieve this.


Previous internal sales process management (both sales process and personnel management) is paramount in order to make a successful application – candidates should clearly be able to evidence tangible commercial successes within their career and be comfortable in managing a medium sized team. Exposure to driving sales within a technical environment would be highly advantageous.


With full support of the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have all the necessary tools provided in order to thrive within the business, and in turn help the company continue its market leading status.
