Person Specification – Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

My client Principal is looking for a cheerful and positive Science graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree and has worked with children in some capacity in either a volunteer or paid role. The new Science Graduate Teaching Assistant will arrive with an unwavering desire to teach students new and exciting scientific concepts as well as providing them with basic skills to help them achieve their educational goals.

About the Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role

In this Science Graduate Teaching Assistant post, you will be joining the school in a general Science support role. The new Science Graduate Teaching Assistant will be nurtured to teaching success as you are mentored by an accomplished Outstanding Science Teacher. In general, you will be learning a lot about class management and effective lessons plans during the various training and CPD opportunities that will be on offer to you.You will be joining one of the most popular, hard working and social departments of the school. Some of the science students here would benefit from extra support outside of class, thus you will be on hand to take small booster groups and individual sessions. In this Science Graduate Teaching Assistant post, you will be giving the role your full effort in order to show the school that you are the perfect candidate for their own teacher training which would commence in year 2.
