STROOD ACADEMY: Faculty Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Term Time

Salary: C1 Point 17-26 (Actual pro rata salary £13,168 – £17,374)

Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only plus 5 staff days & 5 additional days

Start date: September 2016

We seek to appoint two graduates to join our Mathematics & Science Faculties as Faculty Assistants. This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching, as training may be made available in the future, but it is not essential.

This is a very varied role that requires a well organised, methodical individual with a high level of computer literacy and excellent communication skills as the post requires some level of cover for absent faculty members.

Applicants without a degree but with equivalent relevant experience will be considered for this post.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check upon appointment.
