THISTLE HILL ACADEMY: Learning Support Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Full-time


Start Date: Sep 2016


Pay: KR3 (FTE £15,102 – 16,799)


We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant to start on the 1st September at our academy. You ideally would have experience of working with children in a classroom setting.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the rapidly growing LSSAT family of academies and to play a key role in making a difference to the lives of children and young people.

Information about the school


Thistle Hill is a new LSSAT academy, which opened in September 2015. From Easter 2016 we are opening a specialist centre within the academy for 15 pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.


Our main aim is to provide an aspirational teaching and learning experience, where pupils understand how to make progress in an atmosphere of challenge and fun whatever their ability.
