Job Title: In Store Development Executives
Salary: Up to £75 per day inclusive of holiday, up to £20 commission per weekend (smart phone/tablet)
Days of Work: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
Overview: As an In Store Development Executive working with Samsung’s TV AV products, you will fulfil a unique role within the Samsung Field Force team.
You will be responsible for achieving sales targets across the Premium TV AV product range (SUHD, curved sound bar and M series), maximising and developing incremental Samsung sales opportunities.
Additionally delivering a targeted AV attachment rate
Based permanently within a high profile consumer electronics store, you will ensure that Samsung’s strong relationship with the store grows and develops.
Managing the Samsung display to ensure that it is always compliant to Samsung’s guidelines and is incorporated into the sales journey at every opportunity.
This is a high profile position and you should expect to receive regular mystery shopping visits from retailer and Samsung senior directors.
Your role will be promoting our range of products to prospective customers, engaging and exciting customers through thought provoking and relevant demonstrations.
You will be working closely in partnership with the store team to ensure that the Samsung sales are developed to a high standard
Store colleague knowledge levels are high ensuring they can confidently sell and answer customer queries when you aren’t in store.
Reporting on business objectives, sales, training and compliance standards in store is critical to the success of the brand and your role in store. As the ‘eyes and ears’ of the brand you will be expected to deliver time-bound, accurate and business focussed reporting on a daily basis.
You will follow Samsung’s Quality Standards guidelines, signing in and out of the store at the correct times. You will strive to deliver “Best in Class” service at all times.
Main Duties & Areas of Responsibility:
Achieve agreed sales targets across Samsung’s TV and Audio product range
Negotiate to gain incremental sales opportunities and increased presence in store
Utilising the Samsung demonstration areas as key selling areas within the store
Professionally represent the Samsung brand and products at all times, feedback key business information.
Promote, present and sell Samsung products to all prospective shoppers
Retain and build market share for Samsung products across store, work with store colleagues to increase this
Work with store colleagues to ensure a high level of knowledge across the team on Samsung products
Communicate key messages to all members of the store team, through training and brand awareness sessions
Build strong working relationships with the Samsung RDE colleague
Build strong relationships with all members of the store team providing training where needed
On occasion, you may be asked to represent the brand at designated events and roadshows
Conduct exception activity and reporting, as directed by your line manager
Support store team members with shoppers as requested
Support promotional activity and store events – in agreement with your line manager this will include evening activity
Establish training needs on the shop floor and act as conduit between store management and Training Team to arrange formal training sessions
Ensure stores are compliant to Samsung standards every day
Execute POS placement, as directed by your line manager and Samsung
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
Ensure you adhere to uniform code at all times
Adhere to working hours, signing into and out of store, following the correct processes and procedures.
Reporting:
Integral to the success of the TVAV In Store Development Executive role is reporting. You will complete all required reporting on time every day
Reporting would typically include:
A complete record of each day’s activity in store to include sales, display compliance, competitor and market share information
Time-in and out of store
Business-focussed observational reporting
Training records updated and submitted, following each training session
Record personal and store sales records
Exceptional promotion/ad-hoc reports
