ROLE SUMMARY

Area Sales Manager

A rare opportunity to join a market leader, tasked with proactively developing sales within a critical sales territory, with full commercial responsibility for the area.

The role will involve driving product specification through identifying and securing Flat Roofing and Commercial Roofing projects, dealing with Main and Sub Contractors, Architects and Surveyors.

A further essential aspect to the role is in the effective management and development of key Distribution and Merchant accounts.

CLIENT REQUIREMENT

Essential Criteria

Our client requires a high calibre, driven and self motivated sales professional with experience in Building Product or Construction sales.

You will possess exceptional communication skills as well as a proven track record in a field based sales environment, comfortable in consultative sales and negotiation.

Desired Criteria

Our client are seeking a high calibre field sales professional with exposure to Flat Roofing, Tapered Roofing, Commercial Roofing, Insulation or related products and solutions.

Ideally you will have worked for a Roofing, Waterproofing or Insulation Manufacturer or Distributor with a comprehensive understanding of the construction supply chain.
