Infrastructure Support (3rd Line) – Chatham, Kent – Citrix, XenApp, Xen Desktop

I have a very rare opportunity for another Infrastructure Analyst (3rd Line) to be part of a very successful IT team based in Chatham, Kent. You will be part of one of the fastest growing companies in Kent and you will be exposed to a great working environment with friendly staff. The company also has an extremley low staff turnover and have taken on over 100 staff in the last 2 years.

You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the companies IT systems with 4 other team members enabling the organisation to offer the best service possible for their hundreds of thousands of customers and internal staff members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement all hardware and software upgrades


• Investigate and recommend changes to the companies current processes in order to maximise the effectiveness along side the operations team


• Create and maintain all IT Infrastructure documentation


• Use your technical experience and knowledge to make suggestions and changes for any projects that would affect the companies IT Infrastructure


• Liaise with third party suppliers ensuring they carry out any work to companies standards


• provide assistance to more junior members of staff

Skills required (Essential)

• Strong Citrix experience – Implementing, Design, Policies and upgrading is essential


• Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and Domain Controllers


• Windows Server 2008 to 2012 – Essential


• VMWare – Essential


• SCOM or SCCM (System Centre)

Skills (Desirable)

• HP San Storage and Blade technologies


• Microsoft Exchange Server support


• MCSE, MCSA or COMP TIA A+
