The purpose of this position is to provide instructional and clerical assistance to the librarian in a secondary school. Responsibilities typically include instruction of students, student discipline, planning, preparation of materials, and record keeping. This job involves supervision of student library helpers and computer cataloging and circulation of library materials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
AA degree or 90 quarter-hour college credits*. Transcripts must on file to be considered for an interview. Completion of the ETS ParaPro Assessment test with a score of 461 or higher will be accepted in lieu of college credits. Proof of score must be on file.

Ability to exhibit multicultural and ethnic understanding and sensitivity with the ability to communicate effectively with all cultural groups in the school community.
Ability to communicate in another language.
