An Immediate Vacancy has arisen in an Accountancy Practice in Chatham for an Accounts semi – senior.

Duties Include:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies for review by Partner.

• Finalisation of accounts and submission to Companies House

• Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and filing with HMRC

• Preparation of personal income tax computations

• VAT returns and bookkeeping

• Attending client meetings and dealing with queries

Experience:

AAT Qualified or at a similar level

Previous Accountancy practice experience essential.

Good practical accountancy skills

Excellent communicator with the ability to work as part of a Team

Supervision of junior members of staff with the ability to assist

Practice use CCH Accounting and Taxation Software, a knowledge of this would be useful but not essential. Other packages used: Quickbooks, Sage, Excel.
