The course is fully supported with all of the training you require to become fully qualified. With the rapid increase in the complexity of today’s trucks – and the technology needed to keep them up and running – first class training for those involved in the vital servicing and maintenance of these vehicles has become more important than ever. The DAF Apprentice Programme gives you the chance to join the select group of specialist technicians working on some of the most modern, sophisticated trucks on the road.

The future prospects for this positions are bright, with the opportunity of a full time career within the automotive industry with many opportunities to progress. By having a highly regarded set of skills, Apprentices can go on to develop their career within any other areas of commerce they may be interested in.

You will be provided with full training for and also an apprentice advisor will visit at least every 4-6 weeks as part of a close support network to ensure that Apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their role and qualification. An Apprentice’s training includes:

Industry recognised framework qualification.

Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)

NVQ Level 2

Vocational related qualification (technical certificate)

The apprenticeship is expected to last 2 years.
