Android Developer – Java, Android, Mobile, TDD, Agile – Mobile Tech Company – Kent- £60k
Android Developer needed to join an Exciting Mobile Tech Company in Kent to assist pushing mobile technologies, working alongside their team of engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
The Android Developer will have significant experience of native Android app development processes in a commercial environment, as well as general development practices such as version control and agile development methodologies like TDD, BDD, CI.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required experience
- 3+ years of object oriented software development
- Contributed to at least one published native Android application
- Demonstrated strengths in Java and the Android SDK
- Google Play services and Android support libraries
