Group Manager Fostering Team Bromley




Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for Group Manager to join their Family Placement / Fostering Team in Bromley

THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE!


The Group Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision, delivery, development and performance management of services provided by the Family Placement Team, and will act as the Agency Adoption Adviser, for the Adoption Panel, in line with legislation, regulations, guidance and standards and internal policies and procedures.


This role will include some of the below duties……


* To ensure effective service provision within the team to include purchasing/commissioning where appropriate
* To provide an effective deputising function as required for the Head of Service in relation to Fostering and Adoption Matters.
* To develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and practice and ensure that all developments and changes are implemented and cascaded throughout the teams for which the post holder is responsible
* To manager a proactive and professional fostering service to meet the placement needs of looked after children in Bromley.
* To ensure compliance with Policies, Procedures and Service Standards across the team for which the post holder is responsible.


For this position, the following is essential:


* A degree or masters in social work (or any other recognised equivalent Qualification)
* HCPC Registration
* Up to date DBS
* Proven management experience in a social care setting – as a minimum following proposed adoption standards this would be a minimum of at least one year’s experience as a manager at this senior level.
* Must be a Car Driver


** Rate of Pay for this role is £37’176 – £55’761**
