Marketing Executive (Full-Time)


Location: Lamberhurst


Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 DoE


Our client was established in late 1987 and is currently celebrating over 25 years in business. As exclusive distributors of a wide range of software solutions to the UK & Ireland, Our client has grown substantially in recent years and is now a significant business with an outstanding client base of more than 1,500 blue chip companies. Our client also distributes other CaseWare products, plus other high quality audit and IT security-related products from third parties. Their software products are used by organisations large and small, including multi-national corporations, government agencies, the big four accountancy firms, as well as sole traders. These clients have come to rely on their team to support their audit and investigation activities throughout the UK, Ireland and the rest of the world. Their team of experts are committed to providing high quality customised solutions and training for vital business processes to ensure users obtain the maximum benefit from their investment in our products.


They are looking for a commerically minded and versatile individual who is able to “hit the ground runnning” with this dynamic role. Working in a small marketing team, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day running of this busy department.


Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the ideal candidate will ideally be a compentent marketer, able to make recommendations and analyse their own work, utimately with the goal of increasing conversions and ROI. The successful person will be expected to use all modern marketing techniques, with a particular focus on digital marketing, to generate leads and sales for our core software products, training and consultancy. The core focus will be to deliver all marketing inititives in accourdance with the marketing plan, whilst growing the social media and online presence of the brand. You will also be responsible for overseeing and project managing our client’s events, including webinars, seminars and the software user groups. Print marketing experience would also be beneficial but not essential, as at times you may be required to write and design advertisments for magazines and help to create brochures.


Own transport required due to company location. Full training will be provided.


To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working within a marketing team, have ambition and flair and a real drive and enthusiasm for marketing. You may on rare occasions be expected to complete ad-hoc tasks for the Management Team and the Managing Director.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the delivery of an ambitious marketing plan

  • Reporting and tracking results across the digital marketing mix to show ROI

  • Sending e-marketing promotional messages using our e-marketing platform

  • Using multi social media platforms for online advertising and engagement

  • Competent with different online advertising channels

  • Feed leads into the sales team’s pipeline for follow up

  • HTML and CMS knowledge

  • Generating Google Analytics reports and monitoring website performance

  • Co-ordinating AuditWare events, seminars, webinars and user groups

  • Ordering conference collateral and brainstorming ways to promote the brand at conferences

  • Search Engine Optimisation and link building

  • Measuring all results and analysing work for continued improvement

  • Completing general marketing administration tasks

  • Ad-hoc duties for the Head of Sales and Marketing

Candidate Requirements:


Essential:


  • Experience using an email marketing platform, ideally MailChimp

  • Experience using a web administrator portal for making website changes.

  • Experience using social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

  • Experience using Creative Suite software such as Adobe Photoshop

  • Ability to create creative copy, with minimal support

  • Search Engine Optimisation and link building experience

  • Be able to work independently and on own initiative

  • Ability to communicate updates and results in meetings or through written reports

Desirable:


  • Degree Educated and CIM qualified

  • Experience organising events and seminars

  • Knowledge of composing marketing plans

  • Some print marketing experience

  • Basic experience using or an equivalent online CRM platform

  • Knowledge and experience working with IT software (or data analysis) would be an advantage
