The ideal new Primary School Teaching Assistant will be a dependable graduate who has previous experience supporting children and will have achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. The school needs a graduate who has a burning desire to forge a long and successful career in teaching and in the broader educational sphere. You should have the capability to illustrate your enthusiasm and commitment to the role. The new Primary School Teaching Assistant will be a passionate individual who can validate the trust within your pupils by exhibiting a genuine interest in their schooling life.

About the Primary School Teaching Assistant role

This Primary School Teaching Assistant position involves joining the school in a general role, not assigned to any particular class or department and you will be ensuring the individual needs of SEN pupils are being met. Get to grips with some of the most advanced teaching technologies and make the most of the school’s multiple sensory rooms. The school has committed to running bespoke learning pathways for low or high pupils through graduate-run intervention sessions and 1:1 classes. Mentorship will be offered by a SENCO and the school are willing to offer you the same training and CPD as qualified teachers.
