Project Support Analyst – Scheduler - Blue Origin, LLC - Kent, WA

DESCRIPTION: As part of a unique and highly-skilled team, you’ll participate in the development of space launch vehicles. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for project support within a fast-paced group of companies developing human space flight. In this hands-on position, you’ll work to increase the speed and efficiency of our programs, by supporting the timely delivery, quality and transparency of data to support the company’s business decisions.

Responsibilities


Partner with the business to assist and ensure the timely delivery and requisite transparency and quality of data to support the company’s business


Provide process support to programs and functions in key skillsets: scheduling and resource planning, budgeting and financial management (including estimating and pricing), and supplier management and procurement


Primary Role – Support scheduling and resource planning


Develop and maintain Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Schedules (IMS) for programs


Provide visibility, status, and regular reviews on schedule performance


Prepare work schedules, track work progress, update project critical path schedules, and advise the element leads and CogEs of needed adjustments to daily work activities


Provide scheduling expertise to department, company, and other personnel as required


Perform schedule baseline change control, collection and track performance, critical path analysis and variance analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required


Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Project Management


Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager)


Broad/deep scheduling and planning skillset; Experience with large project controls, project planning and IMS; Proficiency with resource loaded schedules using Primavera, Open Plan, MSProject, or other software


Experience in one or more of the following areas: accounting/budgeting and financial reporting, estimating and pricing, and/or procurement and supplier management


10+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace


Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project)


Strong communication skills in technical work environments


U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien or otherwise able to review all export-controlled technical information

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
