About the Role of SEN Teaching Assistant
You will have the responsibility of acquiring new skills on a regular basis as you learn from the different teachers in the school in this dynamic role. You will have the responsibility of liaising with the SENCO as you work with SEN pupils and monitor their progress in academic and personal development. Day-to-day, you will be working cohesively with an outstanding and dedicated Class Teacher, you will benefit from a structured training programme. As a SEN Teaching Assistant in general, you will be managing smaller intervention groups and individual sessions.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will have the drive to motivate and inspire your pupils to work hard and maintain your enthusiastic manner throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will have a warm and compassionate personality, an interest in getting involved in extracurricular learning and want a career in SEN. To be considered for this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant you must be a particularly ambitions graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role. You will have the skills to work effectively in challenging situations and wholeheartedly contribute towards all aspects.
