Reed is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading training provider who are seeking a candidate to work as a Trainer in Gillingham.

Our client is seeking an experienced Trainer that is qualified in Learning and Development and has experience of coaching to groups.

This is your chance to work for a highly reputable organisation and develop yourself and truly make a difference. Our client offers a diverse range of courses such as first aid, risk assessment, fire marshal, health and safety, and moving and handling courses.

Duties will include:

– Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard
– Maintain own personal development, and maintain a personal development record
– Promote products and services
– Work with permanent staff, casual workers and volunteers to maintain a high standard of training and assessing
-Ensure that all equipment used is fit for purpose, is cleaned and stored correctly
– Accurate completion and submission of relevant course documentation
– Prepare training rooms
– Pilot new initiatives in training when required
– Perform any other duties and requirements

-£0.45 mileage rate for travel between courses
-Travel kept to a minimum from the main site
-25 days holiday + bank holidays which increases to 30 after 5 years

-35 hours per week

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates that are:

– Educated to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
– Qualified and have gained a certificate in Learning and Development or a level 4 or above teaching qualification
– Proven experience of teaching, coaching, assessing and/or presenting to groups
– Willingness and ability to work evenings/weekends if required
– Professional nature.

It would be highly desirable for candidates to possess NEBOSH OR IOSH qualifications or to have delivered similar material.
