Inventory Control Analyst - Exotic Metals - Kent, WA
Functions and Responsibilities:
Support, monitor and promote inventory control policies and procedures.
Generate, analyze and adapt daily/weekly/monthly inventory control and production reports.
Observe, analyze and recommend changes to processes in response to business issues and objectives and in response to change; develop project plans and schedules.
Interact with shop, office and IT personnel in support of inventory control initiatives, requests, exception processing, and problem solving.
Monitor inventory control and related transactions and processes for compliance, identify and escalate issues, and research and present options for resolution.
Lead projects and events to enhance inventory physical and process control.
Perform assigned administrative tasks timely and effectively.
Create and maintain inventory control documentation and training tools.
Support the training and development of inventory control employees.
Monitor and support the understanding and consistent practice of inventory control fundamentals across four inventory control departments and multiple facilities.
Required Skills
Required Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Understand workflow principles.
Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and present information effectively.
Proficient with MS Office products.
Ability to become proficient in use of business systems, including ERP, software applications and reporting tools.
