My client Head of Alliance is looking to find the best Kent Graduates to join their schools in pursuit of academic excellence. The Graduates must have an exceptional academic record and a fantastic temperament to meet the demands of the role of a Teaching Assistant.

The new Secondary School Teaching Assistants will be supporting the departments which best utilise their degree subjects. Your job will be to work with small groups and with individuals to help raise attainment levels towards their GCSE and A-levels examinations. You must have strong subject knowledge and be a skilled communicator who can generate excitement in their subject and motivate their pupils.

The new Primary School Teaching Assistants will have a natural ability to connect with Primary Age children and be able to help raise attainment levels in literacy and numeracy. Graduates with a modern foreign language are particularly welcome to apply.

You will be given tremendous support by your class teachers, some of which are some of the best NQTs and experienced teachers in the county. They will assist you with learning materials and give you structure to your time at the school. The experience will be such that you will be introduced to different teaching techniques setting you up for a successful PGCE/School Direct application.
Both sets of Teaching Assistants will have a strong desire to be a Teacher and will be looking forward to their PGCE or School Direct placement. For particularly able Teaching Assistants, there is the potential of a School Direct place either as a teacher at the school you will be working in, or another school in the Alliance.

So, if you are a First Class or Upper Second Class Graduate who has a strong desire to teach, please send your CV to John at Edustaff today.

Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
