Information about the school
We are a ‘single form entry’ (7class) primary school situated in the coastal village of Dymchurch. We have an amazing environment, surrounded by the sea, a steam railway and the historical Romney Marsh.
We work closely with parents, and have strong links to the community.
We are part of the Village Academy – a group of 7 schools that work very closely together to provide the best education for the children in our care. We do not subscribe to the ‘one size fits all’ approach, but instead believe that education is very much a matter of the individual. Each school is unique in its character and ethos, and that’s the way we like it. ‘Different’ within our academy is a good thing! Each school retains its own name, its own school uniform and its own approach. We are drawn together to share good ideas (that work!) and the best practice from our excellent teachers and teaching assistants. Standards within our schools are good and rising and most important of all, the children are happy.
Our school and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
