Due to the Secondary School increasing its roll due to high levels of applications, my client Secondary School requires an additional Teaching Assistant to provide support across its core faculties of English, Maths and Science. My client Head Teacher needs to appoint an outstanding Russell Group Graduate or First class Graduate with excellent A levels in two of Maths English and Science to join their teaching team.

The new Teaching Assistant must have a strong desire to teach and to use this year’s experience to gain a firm grasp of teaching life which will be ahead of your PGCE/School Direct application next year. The heads of faculty will support the new Teaching Assistant by putting in place a mentor that will liaise with the faculty heads to ensure the successful candidate is supported and challenged to provide exceptional assistance for the pupils.

The School has a family feel to it and it welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds and encourages them to be the best they can. Visitors remark on the warmth of the atmosphere when they visit the school. Relationships between staff and students are strong and there is a vibrancy and energy to the school. The Secondary School is always pushing boundaries and the emphasis on giving the students personal freedom with accountability for their work as seen an upward trend in GCSE performance.
