The ideal new Trainee Science Teacher will need to be a professional Science graduate who has a second class degree at the very least and first-class subject knowledge. The school wants to see graduates who have a real, genuine passion for education of the curriculum and education. You will have the ability to introduce your own ideas when supporting learning, showing your leadership skills and ability to take on responsibilities.

About the Trainee Science Teacher role

In this Trainee Science Teacher post you will be assisting with general support throughout the school. The school have a range of staff who are willing to work 1:1 with a TA or LSA and give them the best start possible for a successful career in education. You will have the responsibility of cultivating your skills as a teacher that are delivered to you the supportive mentor. In general, you will be lending your support to the popular Science Department which is extremely popular amongst pupils. This Trainee Science Teacher position is ideal for a driven candidate who would like to challenge themselves by leading the class where the opportunity arises. you will start as a Teaching Assistant as you grow in teaching stature and then your second year will be completing a relatively busy timetable as you achieve your PGCE and QTS through the school’s own School Direct teacher training programme
