The Trainee Teacher Role
As a Trainee Teacher your role will see you working across different classes within Key Stage 2, and will see you start out life as a Teaching Assistant to gain a full introduction to your new environment. Once your feet are well and truly under the table, you will be given the chance to start taking a small teaching timetable each week as you progress throughout your PGCE. By Year 2 of the Premier Pathways program, move on to teaching your own class and utilising the skills you have learned from your training to really make a positive impact as a Teacher in this school!
