Person Specification for SEN Maths Teacher
For this post you should be a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher who has worked in an environment with a high number of SEN or SEBD pupils previously and 1 year of solid teaching experience. This post requires a SEN Maths Teacher who has the skills to take their teaching to the next level by employing a proactive attitude that ensures them are prepared for every eventuality. The Headteacher wants to recruit a SEN Maths Teacher with a calm but firm teaching style and a calm approach to teaching in a busy SEN school where them can expect some challenges. As a SEN Maths Teacher you must have an empathetic character that positively affects your pupils as they benefit from learning to care for and understand others.
About the Role of SEN Maths Teacher
You will be teaching as part of a successful Maths Department. You will move into an important role within the department responsible for GCSE teaching and learning. An experienced TA will be on hand in your lessons to help you with any challenging children or to give you a hand with preparation or assessments. Your SEN Maths Teacher duties will include benefitting from joining a faculty with great camaraderie who you can count on to help you out.
