Office Administrator (Kent, WA) - EC Company - Kent, WA

EC Company has a full-time position available for an Office Administrator with Project Coordinator duties at our branch office in Kent, Washington. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide a high level of coordination support in a wide variety of areas, partnering with construction project management staff and by leading Project Coordinator team.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in job start-up and close-out

  • Manage document controls

  • Review contracts for billing information

  • Reconcile job costs to ensure accuracy of billings

  • Prepare, process and review billings (Time & Material or Quotes)

  • Permit tracking

  • Review weekly timecards and submit to Payroll

  • Ordering drawings

  • Review and code expense reports for submittal to Vice President

  • Monthly pretty cash and checkbook reconciliations

  • May have supervision responsibilities of Project Coordinators and Administrative Clerk

  • Bank deposits

  • Ordering office supplies and furniture for branch and jobsites

  • Spreadsheet projects

  • Event coordination

  • General administrative support

Experience and Skills:


  • Two or more years of administrative experience in construction industry, preferably electrical construction, required

  • One or more years of billing experience, preferred

  • Previous Office Management experience, preferred

  • Previous supervisory responsibilities, preferred

  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

  • Intermediate to advance level skills in MS Word and Excel

  • Viewpoint (construction accounting software) experience a plus

  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload

  • Handle multiple tasks to successful and on-time completion
