Person Specification – Graduate Student Mentor


The school are looking for an enthusiastic graduate who has earned an upper second class degree or better from a Russell Group University and who has previous experience supporting children in some guise. The new Graduate Student Mentor must possess the skills to help students progress by inspiring them with your own drive and high expectations. The school wants to meet a confident graduates who can interact positively with teachers and students allowing them to reach particular needs. Ideally, the school need a Graduate Student Mentor who is able to display a keen passion for education and a desire to carve their own career as an outstanding teacher.


About the Graduate Student Mentor role


At this forward-looking school, as a Graduate Student Mentor you will be working across the whole of KS5 as you work with University bound students with their exam preparation and University applications. This Graduate Student Mentor position involves reinforcing elements of the curriculum to students on an individual basis or in small groups. Day-to-day, you will be building towards securing a place on the School Direct programme through your hard-work, passion and genuine interest in teaching.
