We are searching for an electrical/mechanical supervisor to assist with the safe operation and upkeep of a central campus of 19th, 20th and “state of the art” 21st Century buildings including office, laboratory and residential facilities on a 50+ acre site in mid-Kent.

This is a hands-on role with supervisory responsibilities for a small team of experienced trades people.

In addition to ensuring all ppm activities are carried out in a timely manner you will also be required to divert resources at short notice as required by reactive work.
This role has “eyes and ears” requirements. It is up to you to know what is and isn’t happening and where, how, when and why future works will be required, working with the head of facilities to update PPM activities.

Ideally you will be 17th Edition qualified with recognised IOSH or NEBOSH training and have accurate record keeping and reporting skills in order to update computerised records.

Previous experience in maintenance at a hospital, university or similar campus environment would be beneficial.

Standard hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 and Saturday morning 9-12 (on a rota with other colleagues, currently around 15 mornings per year).
