Person Specification – Graduate Teaching Assistant
The ideal new Graduate Teaching Assistant will be a willing graduate who has an upper second class degree at the very least and will have worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role. The new Graduate Teaching Assistant should have the capability to display your focus on becoming a teacher, through your enthusiastic approach within the classroom. This Graduate Teaching Assistant vacancy is open to those who have an active desire to make the most out of their tenure by participating in some of the many extra curricular activities this school offers.
About the Graduate Teaching Assistant role
In this Graduate Teaching Assistant post, you will be working within one, as yet unfinalised, class, assisting lessons under the direction of the class teacher. The School has a higher than average number of pupils with Special Educational Needs and you will assigned to assist them. If you are hoping to receive extra training and CPD then this is the role for you as all staff are given the same chance to enrol on the fantastic professional development plan. Through following the instructions of an invested SENCO, who will act as your personal mentor, the successful new Graduate Teaching Assistant will be given all the training you need to truly flourish when completing your future PGCE.
