GRANGE PARK SCHOOL: Teaching Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant from June 2016 until August 2017 to work at our partnership unit at Mid Kent College, Medway Campus, Gillingham, ME7 1FN.

Term time + 5 INSET days + 15 additional days (equalling 42 weeks per year) 37 hours per week. Kent Range 3 plus a Special Needs Allowance.

Grange Park School is a day special school committed to making a difference for 101 pupils aged between 11 and 19 who have an Autism Spectrum Condition and associated learning difficulties.

Class sizes are between 9 -10 pupils with a teacher and 2 teaching assistants.

All staff receive training to improve their understanding and working knowledge of autism.

Grange Park School is fully committed to the protection and safety of its pupils. An enhanced DBS check is required for all staff and will be paid for by the school. All references will be taken up before interview.
