We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our RTMC team. The RTMC (Regional Technology Maintenance Contract) is a maintenance contract for Highways England which delivers outcomes on the Motorways and High Speed Network. This role is part of the team delivering fault analysis and planned and reactive maintenance on Technologies such as – Message Signs, CCTV Cameras, Roadside Telephones, Traffic Signals and Weather Stations.


We are interested in you if you have:


*Proven Experience working on motorway technology or closely related systems, i.e. Alarms, CCTV, Transmition Networks.
*Detailed Fault analysis skills.
Or
*Have a Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Forces background.
And
*Good IT skills
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Committed to achieving results and ability to work under pressure.
*Team player – ability to develop good working relationships.
*Ability to work independently and act on own initiative.
*Good organisational skills and a systematic approach.


Typical Deliverables


*Reporting to Lead Engineer, delivering planned and reactive maintenance on Highways Communication network.- Message Signs, Roadside Telephones, Traffic Signals and Weather Stations
*Detailed Fault analysis on Motorway systems.
*Responsibility for mentoring Apprentices/Trainees.
