Our current Wellbeing Manager is moving on to a promoted post so we looking to appoint another person to join our busy team. Working alongside the SLT, you will be the first point of contact for parents/carers and staff on a daily basis. You will work with outside agencies, parents and staff to improve outcomes for our vulnerable pupils.
An important part of the role will be to co-ordinate Early Intervention Planning acting as lead professional when required. You will manage and monitor any referrals to outside agencies ensuring that accurate records are kept. Experience of Early Help and Social Care referrals and liaising with these agencies is essential. Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding procedures is also a vital part of the role.
The person we are looking for will have previous experience of working with children and families, good interpersonal and organisational skills and able to build trusting relationships with our children and families. Previous experience of working in a school and with other agencies would be a significant advantage.
The exact job description will depend on the experience of the successful candidate. The post is full time (37 hours a week, all year). In the first instance the post is temporary (1 year) although for an exceptional candidate this is negotiable.
