Supply Chain/Contracts Manager
Are you good at building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships?
Do you have experience of dealing with complex and challenging supply chains?
Can you demonstrate success at winning contracts?
Have you been the key liaison figure for supply chain issues and can you provide accurate and detailed knowledge of supply chain time lines to help minimise site conflicts?
-Act as key point of contact with sales and estimating teams, providing support and guidance with their tendering and quotation process
-Proactively progress sales enquires and quotations received through to sub-contractor ensuring that all deliveries are complete, on site on time
-Key liaison figure, and point of reference and knowledge for sales staff dealing with any supply issues, providing accurate and detailed knowledge of supply time lines to minimise site conflicts
-Provide ad hoc assistance to the Contacts team with managing general stock and delivery queries
-Provide support and assistance to the Estimators by producing estimates on small contracts, sundry orders for specifiers and manage bespoke orders
• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of both retail and contracts sales orders
• Expert support and guidance to Sales team managing sample orders for both retail and contracts customers
• Responsible for the accurate and timely production of contract quotes
• Proactively and accurately identify key projects on CRM, maintain CRM project information and undertake extensive and relevant research on ABI and relevant internet sites to maintain high levels of project knowledge
• Proactively manage and progress chase uotations through to sub-contractor and ordering merchant ensuring that the timeline of goods required on site is maintained and adhered to at all times
• Responsible for updating and supplying material (ie technical sheets, images etc) for specifications
• Key liaison figure for the team to generate accurate and timely forecast requirements, including the contracts monthly call off requirements
• Experience of dealing with a complex and challenging supply chain
• Excellent organisation and project management skills underpinned by attention to detail
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage a diverse and changing workload, ensuring that all projects are managed on time and in full
• A logical and methodical approach to tasks coupled with the ability to seek creative solutions to ensure any challenges are overcome
• Skilled in the building and maintaining of both internal and external stakeholder relationships, across all areas of the business
• Tenacious and focused in the solving of issues and challenges with the ability to generate and share own ideas and opinions in a positive and constructive manner to improve processes and procedures
• Able to act as am ambassador for and create and present solution focused strategies
• A self-starter able to work independently to generate successes, as well as being a key part of a successful team
• Quick to adapt and learn new ideas and strategies with the ability to translate these into workable solutions and systems
• Excellent IT skills – Sage 500 and MS Office
