Interior Designer / Resource Librarian Seattle, WAPart-time

ABOUT YOU:
- Have 4-year interior design degree from CIDA accredited program
- Be proficient in the following programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Excel, Revit
- Highly motivated and ready to help and contribute to the team and interested in learning.
- Have great graphic design sense, must love formatting and all things visual
- Personal interest in and love of design
- Intelligent and able to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
- Great writer, communicator, good at asking questions and detail-oriented.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assisting designers in sample orders and finish research
- Formatting sheets for client presentation
- Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) sourcing
- Creation of concept boards/digital collages in in-design/photoshop
- Creation of construction drawing sets in Revit, including cabinetry design, and plans for all interior details and finishes
- Sourcing of hard-surface materials and products
- Creation of specifications in Excel to coordinate with the construction drawings
- Searching/sourcing for fabrics and furnishings
- Creation of furniture options sheets in InDesign
- Hand-sketching skills a plus
- Know and effectively use Sketchup or other 3d programs to create professional renderings
DETAILS
- Approximately 20 hours per week (Hours 5 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, flexible) with opportunity for growth
