Secondary EAL Teaching Assistant

** September 16′ start. Kent Secondary School. Teaching Assistant

** Full time. £75 to £80 per day. ( 8.30am to 4.30pm )

** Earn up to £80 per day as a Teaching Assistant

** Excellent Secondary EAL Department

Kent Secondary School is looking for bilingual or experienced EAL teaching assistants to support students with English as an additional language. It is looking to support Secondary EAL pupils throughout their learning and help promote English language skills.

The role will provide:-

• Full time EAL teaching assistant position for at least the Academic Year


• Opportunity to support students through their transition to a new education system


• Excellent training throughout the placement in this Secondary School

We are interested in speaking with outstanding teachers of English who are talented, inspirational and dynamic in their approach with an excellent track record of raising achievement in their own classes. We are seeking someone who has a solid teaching background, with demonstrable experience working with students who have English as an Additional Language.

• A Teaching Assistant qualification ( Level 3 )


• A CELTA or TEFL Qualification


• Overseas Teaching qualification


• Previous experience supporting EAL pupils in secondary schools


• Bilingual or some level of fluency in one or more language
