Branch Secretary / Receptionist - Dunbar Armored - Kent, WA

REPORTS TO (POSITION): Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Provide administrative and clerical support to the branch under the supervision of Branch/Operations Manager.
The essential functions of this position are:
1. Create and maintain personnel files of branch employees.
2. Assist in the hiring process for new employees by placing advertisements, scheduling pre- employment physicals, polygraph tests, DOT physicals and other employment related requirements.
3. Answers phones; screens calls and greets visitors.
4. Performs billing for the location.
5. Type memos, correspondence, file, obtain purchase orders, track office supplies, uniforms and other clerical duties.
6. Communicate with Headquarters departments (Human Resources, Payroll, Safety, Purchasing, etc.) concerning such items as benefits, firearms issues, MVR’s, etc.
7. Other duties as required.
The minimum Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, and/or Abilities required to perform this job are, including any physical requirements:
1. High School diploma/GED.
2. Two years of general office/clerical experience.
3. Computer skills (Word Processing, Spreadsheets). Ability to type 40 wpm.
4. Excellent communications skills. Pleasant demeanor for visitors and employees.
