Design Technology Teacher with SEN experience required in South-East London, Bromley.

Are you a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Design Technology Teacher looking for a full-time position in South-East London?

We are seeking qualified DT Teachers to work in one of our fantastic SEN Schools in the Bromley area that caters and provides excellent facilities for children on the Autism Spectrum. The school are looking for proactive and enthusiastic teachers who have the ability to differentiate approaches to learning, have excellent classroom practice and to have a genuine passion to work with children with Special Educational Needs. They also encourage teachers to have PECS and Makaton and Autism Awareness and Team Teach training, so if you have additional qualifications and experience within those fields this will be desirable in your application.

This role is to start September 2016 with the flexibility of bringing that forward to July 2016 for the right candidate and this role lies exclusively with Capita Education. This is a long-term position with the potential of going onto a permanent contract. The school also seek dedicated individuals who are looking for progression in their teaching career and offers these opportunities to their members of staff.

As a successful candidate working with Capita Education, you’ll need to possess the following qualities:

*QTS
*Experience in teaching Design Technology in Secondary Schools
*Experience and passion working with SEN students
*Knowledge of teaching Product Design, Textiles, Food Tech and Graphics
*Strong classroom management skills
*Strong communication skills
*Currently residing in the UK
*If overseas-qualified the qualification confirmed by UK NARIC and sound knowledge of the UK Education system and National Curriculum
