Person Specification – Graduate Teaching Assistant

To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant post, you must be a versatile graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and will have received at least received a 2:1 in your degree. The new Graduate Teaching Assistant must have the ability to inspire others with your enthusiasm for education. You should have the determination to begin your career within teaching and have the ambition to be an outstanding teacher.

About the Graduate Teaching Assistant role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a particular class to be decided nearer the time. The teacher will rely on you to support groups of around 4-6 pupils in intervention classes outside of the classroom. As part of your training, the school will assess your current professional capabilities and tailor a program of professional development to enhance your teaching acumen.
