SHELDWICH PRIMARY SCHOOL: Learning Support Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Part-time

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and caring individual to join our outstanding team of staff as a Learning Support Assistant. This post is 28.75 hours per week, (5 days) and for 39 weeks per year. The role will be linked to a KS2 pupil.
You must be able to demonstrate the following qualities, skills and experience:
- A love of children and the ability to relate to their parents
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, committed to raising standards for all children
- Good communication and ICT skills
- NVQ/CACHE level 2 (or equivalent) desirable but not essential if experienced in this role
- Good Maths and English skills to at least GCSE C grade level or equivalent
- Experience of Occupational Therapy programmes such as ‘Fizzy’ and Speech and Language programmes is desirable but not essential
