Teacher of Computer Science (maternity)

The school is looking to appoint a well qualified and dynamic Teacher of Computer Science and ICT to join an enthusiastic and successful department. You should have up-to-date knowledge of developments in Computer Science and be an excellent classroom practitioner. There are excellent ICT facilities within the school and a commitment to further improvement.
The school belongs to the E-Learning Foundation and we were short listed for a national award for innovative use of wireless technology.
Assessment for learning is a cornerstone of the Department’s philosophy.

The successful applicant would need to have a working knowledge of algorithm design- both pseudo code and flow chart, and ideally would have experience in teaching in programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JavaScript, PHP and/or Python.
